Your registration does not guarantee you a spot, once you have received your invoice, paid and have received email confirmation of your payment, your spot will be reserved. If you do not receive an email response to your initial registration in ten business days, please contact our administrator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Team members must register for a minimum of two weeks. If you have a concern about this requirement, please contact our administrator at email@example.com. As our spaces are limited, priority will be given to those participating in the entire excavation.
Pricing: Housing and accommodation fees are 400 NIS total per night for team members housed in a 3-4 person room. If you would like to request a private room, an additional 450 NIS per night will be added to your invoice.
For team members within Israel: Cancellation after August 31, 2021 – until the beginning of the dig: A partial refund, minus a 1000 NIS cancellation fee for each week, and a 150 NIS registration and banking fee.
For team members traveling from abroad: Cancellation before September 29: A full refund. Cancellation after September 29: A partial refund, minus 325 NIS registration and banking fee.
Due to Covid-19 and consequential travel restrictions, we understand unforeseen changes to travel itineraries may occur which are out of your control. If you have concerns about Covid-19 affecting your travel, please contact our administrator: firstname.lastname@example.org
Cancellation during the season (September 29-October 10) or without announcement: no refund.
By submitting this form, I acknowledge that:
- I am physically and mentally able to participate in the Masada excavation, and acknowledge that there are certain risks involved in such activities.
- I will be insured under a valid medical insurance policy throughout the entire span of my excavation period, and I confirm that my medical insurance covers any damage that I may be subjected to as a result of my participation in an archaeological excavation.
- In the event of an emergency in which I, or my emergency contact, cannot be reached, I authorize the excavation directors to make medical decisions for me, and to approve administration of first aid if deemed necessary.
- I have read and agree to the cancellation policy outlined above.
Applications that fail to supply required information will be asked to reapply.
